The Data Management section of Rhiza for Research shows you the datasets and custom geographies available in your system. It also has tools that let you upload your own custom datasets in the form of CSV files. (Some systems also can upload SPSS .sav files - contact Rhiza to learn more about this option.)
Load the Data Management page by clicking the Data Management tab (A) in the top toolbar.

There are three data tables in this section - Uploaded (user-submitted) datasets, Custom Geographies, and Syndicated datasets. Use the buttons at the top (B) to switch among the tables.
Each page includes a button for uploading data (D) and a search feature for finding datasets in the category shown.
You can sort the list by clicking any of the column headings. The table columns show each dataset's name and description and the date it was modified.
The Uploaded and Custom Geographies tables also include the creator's username and controls for changing the settings. In these tables, the menu (C) in the rightmost column has a menu that shows additional information about the dataset and gives options for sharing or deleting datasets you have created.
If more datasets are included than can be shown on one page, buttons appear at the lower right of the page (6) that allow you to page through the list.
Read the descriptions below for more detail about the contents of each data table.
Uploaded Datasets
The first table shows data contributed by users in your system.
To upload a new dataset, click the Upload a Dataset button on any of the Data Management pages. Details about the data upload process are included in Upload Data in the Rhiza Online Help.

Click the information (i) button next to the Actions menu to show details about any dataset.

The Actions menu allows you to share (or unshare) or delete datasets you contributed, and to download datasets shared with you.

The titles of datasets that you contributed appear in blue to indicate a link. Click the link to edit the dataset's information.

Custom Geographies
Custom geographies are saved sets of geographic regions that users created. They are created in a Geographic Report by selecting the regions and clicking the Create Custom Geography button at the top of the report page.
Custom Geographies are another kind of user-contributed dataset, which is why they appear in the Data Management section.

By default, custom geographies are named with the user name and creation date. You can edit them from this page to customize the name and details. Geographic sets that you created appear with blue links in their titles - click a title to go to the edit page.
Like the uploaded datasets table, the Custom Geographies table has an information button (i) that shows details about the dataset, and the Actions menu for sharing, unsharing, or deleting custom geographies that you contributed.
Syndicated Datasets
The Syndicated Datasets list shows all of the commercially available data sources that have been integrated into your Rhiza for Research system.

(The screenshot above shows datasets matching the search term "census" only.)
Columns in the Syndicated datasets table show the dataset name, its publication date, and the date it was uploaded to the system.
Click the title to see the details page for any dataset.

For an overview of the syndicated datasets available in your system, read the Supported Datasets article in the Troubleshooting section. (You must log in to the support portal to see the troubleshooting section for your company.)
